Where Are Toyota's Built?

Answer:
Toyota's do not strictly come from Japan as most assume. In fact over 15 million Toyota's have been built in the United States.

Toyota manufacturing takes place worldwide with final assembly usually being in the country where they are sold in order to avoid shipping entire cars across the ocean. Parts manufacturing are spread across the world from places such as the United States, Japan, Thailand to Africa.

There are some Toyota's which are strictly made in a certain country. For example certain Toyota trucks are only built in the US.

So when you get your Toyota, the final papers will usually say it is built in the country you live in however, it can have parts in it that are world wide.
